The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) has officially opened registration for its March May 2026 examinations, covering Diploma, Primary, Part I, MD, and Part II programs. With strict deadlines and important guidelines in place, candidates are urged to register early and ensure compliance with all requirements to avoid penalties or disqualification. This announcement includes critical dates, fees, and policies every applicant must know.

The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria announces the commencement of registration for the March/April/May 2026 Diploma, Primary, Part I, MD, and Part II Examinations.

Registration Timeline:
• Registration opens: Friday, December 5, 2025
• Registration closes: Saturday, February 14, 2026
• Late registration closes: Saturday, March 7, 2026 (Late fee: 20,000.00k)
• Correction of data/uploaded documents after submission but before portal closure: 10,000.00k

Applicants should visit npmcn.edu.ng/examination/ for detailed information, eligibility criteria, and faculty-specific requirements. Incomplete applications will lead to disqualification, and the College will not correspond with such applicants.

No Refund Policy:
Candidates must ensure all documents are in order before applying. Payments made are non-refundable.

Attestation/Recommendation:
Only Fellows in good standing with the College can attest and recommend candidates for examinations.

Plagiarism Policy:
No level of plagiarism is acceptable. All submitted materials (Dissertation proposals, Casebooks, MD thesis, etc.) will undergo similarity checks. Offenders will face disciplinary action.

Part I Fellowship Examination:
• Date: April/May 2026 (Lagos)
• Components: CBT, Written, Clinicals/Practicals, Orals

• Fresh candidates: Sign up and fill in required details
• Returning candidates: Select examination type and proceed with registration and payment

Associate Fellows’ Registration & AFAS (Part I & II Candidates):
• Associate Fellow Registration Fee: 50,000.00k
• Development Levy: 25,000.00k
• AFAS for 2026: 5,000.00k (Pay before January 31, 2026; late payment attracts 25,000.00k penalty)
• All outstanding AFAS and penalties must be cleared before the examination
