Qualifications and Experience

I. Professor 
Applicants must possess a Ph.D in the relevant field, with a minimum of twelve (12) years post-qualification experience in university-level teaching and research. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, develop, and supervise research, show academic leadership, and have an excellent record of scholarly publications. Registration with relevant professional bodies is required.

II. Reader / Associate Professor 
Applicants must hold a Ph.D in the relevant field, with at least nine (9) years post-qualification experience in teaching and research. Evidence of research supervision, academic leadership, and a solid publication record is essential. Registration with relevant professional bodies is required.

III. Senior Lecturer 
Applicants must possess a Ph.D in the relevant field, with a minimum of six (6) years of university teaching and research experience. Adequate scholarly publications in reputable journals and registration with relevant professional associations are required.

IV. Lecturer I 
Applicants must possess a Ph.D in the relevant field, plus three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II in a university.

V. Lecturer II 
Applicants must possess either a Ph.D or a Master’s degree in the relevant field, with three (3) years of experience as Assistant Lecturer in a university.

VI. Assistant Lecturer 
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree and possess an NYSC exemption, discharge, or exclusion certificate.
