We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nurse / Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)

Location: Sokoto

Employment Type: Full Time

Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role located in Sokoto for a Nurse / CHEW.
  • The Nurse / CHEW will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality healthcare services to patients.
  • The role will involve assessing patient needs, administering medication, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the overall well-being of patients.
  • The Nurse/CHEW will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and providing health education and counseling to patients and their families.

Qualifications

  • Valid certification as a Registered Nurse or CHEW
  • Proven experience working as a Nurse or CHEW
  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Compassionate and caring approach towards patients
  • Knowledge of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
  • Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record systems
