Job Title: Nurse

Job Brief

  • We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery at the work site.
  • He or She will also be responsible for educating them on prevention and healthy habits.
  • The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision.
  • He or She will be compassionate and cool-tempered and also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
  • The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
  • Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
  • Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according tophysician’s orders.
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
  • Conduct physical exams to assess patient health needs and problems
  • Implement physicians’ orders, perform treatments, start IVs, administer medications, and interpret special tests.
  • Administer direct care to injured, disabled, ill, or convalescent patients.
  • Review and maintain medical records.
  • Implement and develop nursing care plans
  • Counsel patients and family members on disease prevention and health maintenance.
  • Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients’ conditions and needs.
  • Supervise the work of licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, and assistants.
  • Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic working environment.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc Degree or other Diploma from a Nursing program
  • 5+ years' proven nursing experience
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency care
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
  • Responsible and compassionate
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Valid nursing licenses
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
  • Able to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
