Since its establishment in 1996, the hospital has been providing dedicated specialist services in women's, children's, and family health. The hospital is managed by a group of consultants in various fields, including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, and Medicine & Surgery.

Job Description

• This is a part-time / full time role for a Paediatrician at St. Ives Specialist Hospital located in Lagos.
• As a Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing medical care and treatment to infants, children, and adolescents.
• Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing and treating illnesses, tracking growth and development, administering vaccinations, and providing guidance to parents and caregivers. This role requires on-site presence at the hospital.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Medical Degree and completion of residency training in Pediatrics
• Valid medical license to practice as a Paediatrician
• Excellent knowledge of child health and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Empathy and compassion towards children and their families
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle stressful and challenging situations
• Availability for part-time work.
