Job Title: Paediatrician

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, monitoring, and treating children who are injured, ill or living with disabilities
• Performing comprehensive examinations on newborns and children to identify abnormalities and checking for normal growth and development
• Prescribing treatment methods, including administering medication, performing surgeries, and other therapies
• Discussing diagnosis and treatment plans with parents and children
• Ordering tests and referring patients to Specialists
• Advising patients and their family members on medication use, nutrition and preventive measures
• Creating patients’ medical reports to support other healthcare professionals
• Liaising daily with other members of staff in providing the very best of care to all hospital pediatric clients

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years post qualification work experience
• Knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative methods and principles
• Exceptional understanding of various diseases that affect babies and children
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent active listening skills
• Empathy and interpersonal skills
• Time management skills

Salary

N800,000 / Month
