Description

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Pediatrician to join our founding clinical team in Abuja and help transform the future of pediatric healthcare.

 

Responsibilities

  • As a Pediatrician at St. Ruth Children’s Research Hospital, you will:
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients aged 0–18 years.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of childhood illnesses, especially oncology, hematology, and infectious diseases.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatric oncologists, hematologists, nurses, and researchers.
  • Participate in clinical trials and pediatric research projects.
  • Educate and support families regarding child health, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor pediatric residents and fellows as part of our education mission.
  • Uphold the hospital’s commitment to compassionate, equitable, and excellence-driven care.

 

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Full registration and license to practice medicine in Nigeria.
  • Residency training in Pediatrics (Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians [FWACP] or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria [FMCPaed] is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 2–5 years post-residency experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in pediatric oncology, hematology, or infectious disease care (preferred but not mandatory).
