We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Abia State (Umuire, Near Umuahia)

Description

• The pharmacist onboards as part of our clinical team to support the provision of excellent clinical care to our patients towards optimum health status. The candidate is innovative, respects patients’ rights, and is in tune with the application of modern health technologies to solving health challenges

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients and care-givers on appropriate medicines use principles and methods
• Responsible for receiving, filling, and accurately managing patient prescriptions
• Communicate with medical professionals about patients and their medications
• Accurately measure, prepare, and distribute proper medications to the patients that need them
• Dispense medications in an accurate and timely manner
• Work with other clinical team members to deliver excellent patient care
• Ensure precise measurement, preparation, and distribution of medications
• Maintain and track inventory to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations
• Ensure that all pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with pharmacy policies and procedures, legal requirements, and quality care pharmacy standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) from an accredited institution
• Active pharmacist license in Nigeria
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
• 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Achieving KPIs and business objectives
• Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile
• Adequate problem-solving skills
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and good patient management skills  
• Computer literacy and basic knowledge of EMR and pharmacy software
