We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in line with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and drug interactions to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Review and cancel or correct erroneous prescriptions in collaboration with prescribers when necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PCN regulations, NAFDAC guidelines, and other pharmaceutical laws.
• Ensure proper record-keeping, documentation, and inventory management of controlled and prescription drugs.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Participate in stock planning, reorder management, and overall store optimization to ensure product availability.
• Ensure the ethical and professional handling of all pharmacy operations.
• Contribute to customer retention and sales growth by providing quality service and health education.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
• Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC work experience in a retail or community pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, inventory management, and drug dispensing software
• Excellent communication, cross-selling and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to ethical practice.
• Candidate must reside around stated location or it’s environs
• Proficiency with MS Office suite

Work Schedule: (Mondays- Fridays)

• Morning shift: 7am-3pm
• Afternoon shift: 2pm- 10pm
• One day off in the week

(Alternate Weekends):

• Saturday: Morning shift: 8am-10pm
• Sunday: Afternoon shift: 10am- 10pm

Remuneration

• Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
• Other Benefits: Commission based on sales, Staff discount on medication, End of year bonus
