Job Description

  • Petcare Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Pharmacist to manage and oversee the hospital’s pharmacy operations.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure accurate dispensing of medications, maintain proper inventory, and support veterinarians in providing quality healthcare to pets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately based on veterinary prescriptions.
  • Provide clear dosage instructions and usage guidance to clients.
  • Maintain proper storage, labeling, and handling of all drugs and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely reordering of medications.
  • Keep accurate pharmacy records and update stock regularly.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to ensure correct medication protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with professional and hospital standards.
  • Offer professional advice on drug interactions, side effects, and safe usage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

  • B.Pharm or PharmD (must be a licensed Pharmacist).
  • 3 years proven experience working in a pharmacy or clinical setting.
  • Passionate, attentive, and committed to quality service.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills (for inventory and record-keeping).
  • Preferred: Candidates who live in or around Ikeja.
