We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Abuja (FCT)

 

Job Summary

  • Join a mental-health pharmaceutical practice built around direct patient care,medication management, drug safety monitoring, and patient education for people managing psychiatric conditions.

What you'll do

The role centers on hands-on patient care and safe medication practice, alongside inventory and regulatory responsibilities:

  • Dispense, label, and package prescribed drugs, and counsel patients on how to take them safely and effectively.
  • Give clinical advice on drug regimens to support patient compliance and follow up on treatment effectiveness.
  • Check patient medication history before every prescription or refill to protect patient safety.
  • Advise on non-prescription and lifestyle approaches to general wellness alongside medication.
  • Take part in drug procurement and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor and audit drug inventory, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and reporting.
  • Perform drug assays to verify purity, strength and dosage parameters.
  • Review prescriptions and OTC requests for suitability, and advise on interactions, side effects and storage.
  • Maintain patient profiles, inventory records and registries.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team, and uphold strict controlled-substance security procedures.

What you'll need

  • Licensed Pharmacy degree, with a current practising license
  • Experience: 2 years' experience in pharmacy management (post-NYSC)
  • Location: Based in Abuja, Nigeria.
