We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacovigilance (PV) Executive

Location: Lagos

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain Chanrai HealthCare’s Pharmacovigilance System in line with global standards and NAFDAC regulations.
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate safety data from various sources.
  • Ensure timely reporting of adverse events and safety signals to relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain PV databases and ensure compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP).
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure product safety monitoring.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, training materials, and awareness programs on PV across the organization.
  • Prepare periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and other regulatory submissions.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Health Sciences (Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related fields).
  • Certification in Pharmacovigilance (PV) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong computer and IT skills are desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–3 years hands-on experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety.
  • Prior experience setting up or managing a PV system is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of PV principles, Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP), and regulatory requirements (especially NAFDAC).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability to evaluate safety data and manage issues under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
