We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Specialist

Job Description

  • Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Advisor – Pharmacy will provide technical and programmatic support in strengthening pharmacy systems and building pharmacist’s capacity on Best Practices in the provision of pharmaceutical care for anti-retroviral therapy, prevention of mother-to-child transmission and tuberculosis including inventory management and other related services at community and hospital pharmacies.
  • Will support capacity building of pharmacy staff to deliver high-quality services for HIV, TB/HIV and TB within supported health facilities and in the community.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Recruitment Standard

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)
  • MSc/MPH in Public Health or related field
  • 10 years post qualification experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international pharmacy development programs
  • Experience in HIV/AIDS Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Proficiency in MS Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and other Office packages.
  • Proficiency in the use of email and internet.
  • Fluency in English; excellent communication and report writing skills required.
