Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic hospital pharmacy team.

 

Key Job Functions:

• Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Accurately process prescriptions and medication orders for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge patients.
• Manage stock levels of medicines and medical supplies, including ordering, receiving, and restocking.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including controlled drug registers and temperature logs.
• Provide support for aseptic preparation services and compounding, where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, health and safety guidelines, and pharmacy regulations.
• Liaise with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication use and patient safety.
• Participate in audits, quality assurance activities, and ongoing training programs.

 

Requirements

• Candidate must have a valid license
• Minimum 3 years of experience of working in a hospital
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
