Job Summary

  • HealthGrandest Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations.
  • The successful candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, processing prescriptions, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Prescription Processing & Dispensing:

  • Receive and process prescription orders accurately.
  • Measure, package, and label medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Maintain accurate patient medication records.

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers and respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Assist patients with over-the-counter medication selections within approved guidelines.
  • Provide clear and courteous explanations about prescription pick-up times, medication handling, and pharmacy services.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering medications and supplies.
  • Check for expired medications and ensure proper disposal.
  • Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient pharmacy workspace.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Follow all legal, ethical, and safety guidelines in handling medications.
  • Adhere to Health Grandest Pharmacy’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided).

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of prescription processing systems and basic medical terminology preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Proficient in basic computer use and data entry.
