Valorem Consulting - Our client is a football company located in Shagamu. They have successfully run a football academy for over 2 decades with a pedigree in developing football talent. The football academy is seeking to integrate formal education into its academy.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Physiotherapist

Location: Shagamu, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

Assessment & Diagnosis:

• Conduct physical assessments of students/patients to identify mobility issues, pain, posture problems, or physical limitations.
• Review medical histories and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

 

Treatment & Rehabilitation:

• Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to specific needs.
• Use manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and mobility aids.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed to ensure effective outcomes.

 

Collaboration & Support:

• Work closely with teachers, parents, school counsellors (if in a school), or medical staff to support students’ physical development.
• Provide training or guidance to caregivers or school staff on proper support techniques.
• Refer cases to specialists when necessary.

 

Preventive Care & Education:

• Educate individuals and groups on posture correction, injury prevention, and general physical well-being.
• Recommend ergonomic solutions or modifications for classrooms or workspaces if needed.

 

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including assessments, treatments, and progress reports.
• Prepare and submit reports as required by the institution or regulatory bodies.

 

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience.
