Job Title: Physiotherapist

Position Overview
- We are currently seeking a compassionate and qualified Physiotherapist to join our team and lead physiotherapy sessions for children in our care.
- The Physiotherapist will be responsible for planning and delivering individualized and group physiotherapy interventions tailored to the specific needs of children with Clubfoot, Cerebral Palsy (CP), and other childhood disabilities.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing mobility, function, and independence for beneficiaries while also supporting caregivers through training and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the physical and functional needs of children with clubfoot, cerebral palsy, and other disabilities.
- Design and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Conduct regular therapy sessions and monitor progress toward developmental goals.
- Collaborate with caregivers, community health workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home-based therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate treatment records, progress notes, and reports.
- Lead community outreach and disability awareness programs.
- Support the development of rehabilitation protocols and capacity building within the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with NYSC experience and have keen interest in child physiotherapy are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Current license or registration with a relevant professional body.
- Should be interested in working with children with clubfoot, cerebral palsy, and other developmental or physical disabilities.
Key Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of therapeutic approaches for managing clubfoot, cerebral palsy (CP), and similar childhood conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to develop trust with families and promote active caregiver involvement.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
