Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team.
- The successful candidate will work under the supervision of our licensed physiotherapists to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey, helping them improve mobility and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support physiotherapists in executing patient treatment plans, including exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Assist patients during therapy sessions and ensure they perform exercises safely.
- Set up and prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas before sessions.
- Monitor patients during therapy and report any progress or concerns to the physiotherapist.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy routines they can perform at home.
- Keep accurate and confidential records of patient treatments and progress.
- Ensure therapy equipment is clean and properly maintained after use.
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in a related healthcare or medical course.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or physiotherapy setting is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting patient recovery.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
- Basic understanding of anatomy and rehabilitation techniques.
- Physically fit and capable of assisting patients during therapy.
