Job Title: Post-NYSC Medical Officer
Location: Magodo Phase 2, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and administer appropriate medical treatments
- Ensure optimal patient care by following clinical guidelines and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and transactions.
- Conduct thorough inpatient and outpatient reviews, initiating comprehensive assessment and management plans.
- Supervise and mentor Medical Assistants, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Participate actively in clinical audits and quality assurance initiatives.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Manage emergency situations with efficiency and expertise.
- Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training programs.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff members.
Requirements
- M.B.B.S Degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
- Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC clinical experience.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems.
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, including in emergency situations.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Duty Shift: 48 hours on duty, followed by 4 days off.
Compensation
- Minimum of N350,000 Free Health coverage.
