We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Post-NYSC Medical Officer

Location: Magodo Phase 2, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Duty Shift: 48 hours on duty, followed by 4 days off

 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and administer appropriate medical treatments
  • Ensure optimal patient care by following clinical guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and transactions.
  • Conduct thorough inpatient and outpatient reviews, initiating comprehensive assessment and management plans.
  • Supervise and mentor Medical Assistants, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Participate actively in clinical audits and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage emergency situations with efficiency and expertise.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training programs.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff members.

Requirements

  • M.B.B.S degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC clinical experience.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, including in emergency situations.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Salary

N350,000 per month (Free Health coverage e.t.c).
