Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Pharmacist to join our team. The Production Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the production of pharmaceutical products in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
- This role requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the production of pharmaceutical products in accordance with company guidelines and industry regulations
- Ensure that production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, regulatory affairs, and production staff, to ensure smooth production operations
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to maintain adequate stock levels
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize production processes and ensure consistency in product quality
- Train production staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures
- Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, providing documentation and support as needed
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in production processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field; PharmD preferred
- Licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of [X] years of experience in pharmaceutical production
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience with regulatory inspections and audits is a plus.
