Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Pharmacist to join our team. The Production Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the production of pharmaceutical products in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the production of pharmaceutical products in accordance with company guidelines and industry regulations
  • Ensure that production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, regulatory affairs, and production staff, to ensure smooth production operations
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize production processes and ensure consistency in product quality
  • Train production staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, providing documentation and support as needed
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in production processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field; PharmD preferred
  • Licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of [X] years of experience in pharmaceutical production
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with regulatory inspections and audits is a plus.
