Job Summary
- We are looking for a Production Pharmacist to oversee and manage the production processes, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficient and timely manufacture of pharmaceutical products in compliance with GMP standards.
- Review and approve batch production records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Supervise and coordinate production staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve production-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as necessary.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of production activities.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- Valid Pharmacist license to practice in Nigeria (PCN registration required).
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with GMP guidelines and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes, equipment handling, and batch manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
