Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports to: Production Manager

 

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production of pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, liquids & solids)
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Train and develop production staff
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes and quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical production especially SOLIDS
• Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
