Notice is hereby placed for public awareness in respect of change in the name of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Foundation RC NO: [CAC/IT/NO 96485) to Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. The objectives of and the relevant provisions of the Constitution of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Foundation have also been changed and amended to incorporate fully, the objectives and Constitution under the new name:-Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. Examples of changes in the Provisions of the Constitution of the Foundation are:-

a) The Management team of the Foundation under the new name shall be as follows:-  

i) The Registered Trustees and its Governing Board.  

ii) The President and Executive Officers who have three (3) years tenure.  

iii) Various committees, which will include non-trustees, and Council members.  

The public is also hereby notified that the existing Registered Trustees of the Foundation shall remain as such under the new name.  

THE EXISTING REGISTERED TRUSTEES ARE:-

The change in the name, objectives and amendment of the Constitution, that the Registered Trustees of the Foundation under the new name shall be as they were under the former name, as recommended by the members of the Foundation EXCO on the 14h September 2020, and unanimously approved at the Extra- Ordinary General Meeting of the BoT held on November 19th, 2020.  

 

Any person or body of persons who has objection to the changes in the name, objectives and amendment to the Constitution, the retention of the existing Registered Trustees of the Foundation should raise the objection and forward to the Registrar General, Corporate Affairs Commission, Plot420, Tigris Crescent, Off Aguiyi Irons' Road, Maitama, Abuja, within twenty eight (28) days from the date of this publication.
