Job title: Radiographer

Location: Surulere

Salary: N200,000-N250,000

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities  

• Set up examination rooms, ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready.  
• Performing a range of radiographic examinations on patients to efficiently produce high-quality images.  
• Review and evaluation of developed x-rays, video tape, or computer generated information to determine suitability for diagnostic purposes. 
• Monitor patients' conditions and reactions, reporting abnormal signs to physician.  
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during procedure.  
• Ensuring patients privacy and respect at all times during procedures. 
• Collaborate with other medical team members, such as physicians and nurses, to conduct special procedures.  
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of self and patients.  
• Liaise and work with other medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality care is given to patients.  
• Provide assistance in dressing or changing seriously ill, injured, or disabled patients.  
• Ensuring that equipment is regularly checked for malfunctions and any faults are reported.  

Working Hours  

• Monday To Friday &  
• Alternate Saturdays    
• 8.00am – 5.00pm  
• 9.00am – 3.00pm (Alternate Saturdays)  

Extended hours and other times as required by work exigencies.
