A. The Postgraduate School, Renaissance University Ugbawka, Enugu (RNU) invites applications from suitable qualified candidates for consideration for admission into the under listed Diploma, Masters and Doctorate programmes for the 2021/2022 session under Regular, Part Time, and Centre for Continuing Education (Weekend). 

Any interested candidate should pay a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand, Three Hundred Naira (N10,300.00) via Bank Draft in favour of Renaissance University, Ugbawka, Enugu. Forms are available at the Registrar's Office upon presentation of Bank Draft. 

B. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

All candidates applying for any of the following postgraduate programmes must satisfy the basic matriculation requirements including O'Level Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics and any other related subject as required by the candidate's Department of interest.

1. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)

i) Higher National Diploma (HND) Lower Credit and Above, or 

ii) Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline from Renaissance University or any other recognized University with at least a Third Class Honours, or 

iii) A good Bachelor's Degree with at least Second Class Honours in other related disciplines. 

2. MASTER: M.Sc., and MBA 

i) A Bachelors Degree with at least Second Class Honours (Lower Division) qualification in the related area from Renaissance University or from any other recognized University. 

ii) A Bachelors Degree from a recognized University plus a PGD of not less than 2.50 CGPA on a 5-point scale and a 2.00 CGPA on a 4-point scale in the relevant area. 

However, candidates with MBA or MPA may be admitted into the M.Sc. Programmes of their various Departments.

3. DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (Ph.D) 

Candidates applying for the Ph.D programmes must possess any of the following in addition to O'Level Credit Passes in English and Mathematics and satisfying the basic matriculation requirements of the Department/Institute: 

i) A Master's Degree with a CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 point scale or 2.50 on a 4.00point scale or its equivalent in the relevant areas from any recognized University. 

ii) Any other qualification as the University Senate may from time to time recognizeiapprove. 

C. DURATION OF PROGRAMMES 

i. Ph.D. Programmes: A minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of ten (10) semesters for full-time, and minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of fourteen (14) semesters for part-time students. 

ii. M.Sc., MPH and MBA Programmes: A minimum of two (2) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters for full-time, and minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of eight (8) semesters for part-time students. 

iii. PGD Programmes: A minimum of two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters for full-time and minimum of three (3) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters for part-time students.

iv. Postgraduate (Weekend) Programmes: 

a. PGD Programmes: A minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of eight (8) semesters. 

b. MBA Programmes: A minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of twelve (12) semesters. 

D. DOCUMENTS TO UPLOAD

iii. NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Letter 

iv. "O" Level Result 

E. SUBMISSION OF ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT A

All applications must forward their transcript to reach the Registrar/Secretary, Postgraduate School, Renaissance University Ugbawka, Enugu State, Nigeria not later than Friday, 30th July, 2021.

Please note that any application without academic transcript will not be considered for admission. 

CLOSING DATE: 

The website will close on Thursday, 30th September, 2021 and all submission of documents as in E above will close same day. All successful candidates will be notified via email/SMS.
