Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified nurses for admission into the Eighteen (18) Months Full-Time Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme at the college of Nursing sciences at the federal neuro-psychiatric hospital kaduna for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Application opens on Monday, 22nd December, 2025, and closes on Sunday, 22nd March, 2026.

Entry Qualifications

Applicants must be Registered Nurses (RN) with evidence of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). A current practising licence issued by the NMCN is required. Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level credits obtained at not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. The compulsory subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Combination of WAEC and NECO results is acceptable. Any additional nursing qualification will be an added advantage.

Method of Application

Application forms are available online through the school portal at http://www.sopbpnkaduna.edu.ng upon payment of a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00).

Application Process

Visit www.sopbpnkaduna.edu.ng and click on “Apply Now.” Proceed to payment and complete the application fee transaction. Ensure you have a functional email address and a valid mobile phone number for SMS notifications. After successful payment, click “Login” from the homepage or payment confirmation page to create your login details. Select the Application tab on your dashboard and complete the required information. Upload a passport photograph of 15KB size. Preview your entries carefully, confirm accuracy, and submit your application. Download or print your Application Acknowledgement Letter from the Application tab. Applicants are advised to ensure all information provided is correct before submission.

Pre-Test and Interview

The pre-test and interview will hold on Wednesday, 25th March, 2026, by 8:00 a.m. prompt at the College premises.
