The School of Postgraduate Studies, Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa hereby invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the Postgraduate Programmers of the University for the 2023/2024 Academic Session in the following areas.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

a) Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

• Candidates seeking admission into the Postgraduate Diploma Programme must possess a qualification adjudged to be equivalent to the first degree (at least 3rd Class Degree or higher or a Higher National Diploma (HND) (with at least Lowest Credit) or its equivalent (provided the University Matriculation Requirement is satisfied). Such candidates should have the relevant post-qualification experiences as may be prescribed from time to time. It should be noted that an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) plus a professional qualification and a Higher Diploma (HD) are not equivalent to HND.

b) Master's Degree Programmes

• Candidates seeking admission into Academic Master's Degree Programme must hold:
• A minimum Second Class (Lower Division) Degree with a CGPA of not below 2.75 on the scale of 0.00 - 5.00 of Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa, or any other recognised University (provided the University Matriculation Requirement is satisfied) in the relevant area.
• A minimum Second Class (Lower Division) Degree with a CGPA of 2.40 on a scale of 0.00 - 5.00 of Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa or any other recongnized University and post-graduate Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (Merit) on a scale of 0.00 - 5.00 (provided the University Matriculation Requirement is satisfied) in the relevent area.
• An HND with Lower Credit from any recognised institution plus a Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a scale of 0.00 - 5.00 in the relevant area.

c) PhD Degree Programmes

• Candidates seeking admission into Doctor of Philosophy Programmes must hold an Academic Master's Degree from Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa, or any other recognized University and satisfy the conditions in (i) to (iii) above. The CGPA of the Master's Degree Programme should be at least 3.50 on a scale of 0.00 - 5.00
