Valorem Consulting - Our client is an indigenous football company located in Sagamu. They have successfully run a football academy for over 2 decades with a pedigree in developing football talents. The football academy is seeking to integrate formal education into its academy.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: School Nurse

Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Key Responsibilities

Health Services & First Aid:

• Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses that occur during school hours.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized clinic.

 

Health Monitoring & Recordkeeping:

• Maintain up-to-date health records for all students, including immunization and medical history.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies) and ensure care plans are in place.
• Notify parents and appropriate school personnel of health concerns as needed.

 

Health Education & Promotion:

• Conduct health awareness programs and hygiene campaigns.
• Educate students on topics like personal hygiene, nutrition, and mental wellness.
• Promote a culture of preventive healthcare within the school.

 

Emergency Preparedness & Response:

• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, following school protocols.
• Assist with the development and implementation of emergency health plans.
• Participate in safety drills and crisis response teams as required.

 

Policy Compliance & Collaboration:

• Ensure school health practices comply with local laws and health regulations.
• Liaise with parents, staff, and external health professionals when necessary.

 

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field with experience.
