Job Title: Senior Laboratory Technician

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Laboratory Technician / Quality Manager to oversee laboratory activities, quality standards and compliance while ensuring accurate and reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and testing activities.
• Ensure laboratory procedures meet required quality and safety standards.
• Maintain quality control records, documentation and reports.
• Monitor equipment, calibration, maintenance and laboratory supplies.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures.
• Identify and address quality issues and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory, health and safety requirements.
• Train and supervise laboratory staff where required.

Requirements

• Degree / HND in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant laboratory and/or quality management experience.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control and assurance procedures.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, documentation and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high professional standards.
