Post: Senior Medical Officer

 

Key Responsibility:

1. Performs medical examinations of in and out patients: Diagnosis and patient management.

2. Writes and maintains up-to-date case records and makes necessary medical reports.

3. Prescribes medical treatment based on medical examination and diagnosis.

4. Organizes the workflow in the clinic and duty for medical officers: roster, duty schedules and out of clinic posting to company clinics.

5. Performs minor to major surgeries within the scope and capability of the hospital.

6. Organizes clinical meetings and seminars periodically for up-to-date knowledge in medical practice and patient management.

7. Performs Radiological diagnosis via ultrasound in cases applicable.

8. Be able to supervise and audit cases managed by the medical officers.

9. Ensure the medical team adheres and follows current care methods and standard operating procedues.

10. Liase with specialist concerning patient care, organise specialist clinics and reviews also but not limited to - liase with the HMO manager on patient care that is optimum and profitable for Health insurance based clients.

 

Requirements:

- MBBS.

- Minimum of 5years post N.Y.S.C experience.

- Must possess a valid practicing license with the appropriate regulatory body (MDCN).

- Proficient with Healthcare management systems and microsoft office suit.

- Excellent problem solving skills.

- Good time management and organisational skills

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Excellent work and relationship attitude.

- Surgical, Sonography & Administrative skills.
