They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Officer

Location: Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo

Employment Type: Full time

Work Schedule: Mon to Fri

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of programmes and activities, especially on the SRHR desk of the organisation, as agreed upon by the management team.
  • Ensure SRHR projects and programmes of the organisation are done following the established work plan, timeline, content, and expected results.
  • Support areas including the collection of data and study, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of activities.
  • Support in resource mobilisation through proposal writing, concept note designs and other organisational fundraising activities.
  • Support and develop various technical and programmatic reporting, in policy and its briefs, fact and data information sheet, concept notes, proposals and other contributions for publication or submissions.
  • Support demand generation actions for sexual and reproductive health and services among adolescents and young people in Nigeria.
  • Support knowledge management, capacity building, and content production for external use in the form such as IEC/BCC materials;
  • Supervise human resources and direct activities under the SRHR Desk.
  • Support other programmatic desks as required within the organisation.

Requirements

  • The preferred candidate for this role is a female, not more than 30 years.
  • First degree in health or social sciences, preferably. A masters degree in a relevant area of study.
  • Minimum of two years relevant work experience providing programme support including implementation of sexual and reproductive health related programmes with a non governmental organisation or social enterprise.
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights issues at the national, regional and international stage.
  • Professional writing and verbal communication skills for reports, letters, concept notes, and proposals writing coupled with session delivery is a priority.
  • Ability to work comfortably with major product by either Microsoft or Google.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision while collaborating with the team.
  • Fluency in the Yoruba language is a MUST for this role because of the local context of assignments
  • Disposed to travelling within and outside Ibadan at short notice.

Salary

N200,000  to N320,000 per month.
