We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supervising Medical Officer

Location: Tarauni, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Description
Provide Primary Care Services as follows:

• Ensuring appropriate supervision is provided to all medical officers
• Act as liaison with all departments and medical officers
• Act as primary liaison with inpatient teams regarding reviews, admissions, transfers
• Ensure the adequate staffing of all shifts by medical officers
• Ensure the compliance with regular continuous training/In-service of medical officers
• Ensure consultations are recorded and actioned in a timely manner
• Check with the triage to ensure patient allocation process is proceeding as planned
• Liaising as required with hospital management
• Work closely with nurses, technicians, and other medical staff to contribute to the clinical team’s ability to deliver excellent patient services and support efficient management, coordination and the planning, delivery & evaluation of quality patient care.
• Provide health education, counseling and information to patients and their families or caregivers regarding their medical condition(s), treatment options and on how to improve their health through preventative care strategies of nutrition, exercise, and hygiene.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
