Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Institute of Health Sciences and Technology, UBTH Benin City for the 2024/2025 academic session in the following courses.

• Health Information Management (Course Duration ND 2 Years HND 2 Years)
• Anesthetic Technician Certificate Programmes (Course Duration 3 Years)
• Environmental Health Technology (Course Duration ND 2 Years HND 2 Years)
• Orthopaedic Cast Technology (Ortho Cast) (Course Duration ND 2 Years HND 2 Years)
• Dental Surgery Technician (Course Duration 3 Years)
• Dispensing Optics (Course Duration ND 2 Years HND 2 Years)
• Paramedics Technology (Course Duration ND 2 Years HND 2 Years)

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

• Applications should possess a minimum of five credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O/L, which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, Subjects Obtained with NABTEB are acceptable for the program
• Health sciences in lieu of Biology is acceptable for Paramedics and Environmental Health Technology courses
• All ND and HND programmes admission is through JAMB.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Admission forms are obtainable at the Institute of Health Sciences and Technology admission office, at a fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) Only for the certificate programmes and Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (2,500.00) Only for the ND and HND programmes. All payments for the purchase of application forms should be made at the designated revenue units within UBTH or through the Remita Platform with the account name Training Schools in any bank in Nigeria.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM

Completed application forms should be submitted to the office of the Admission Officer, Institute of Health Sciences and Technology (IHS&T) University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) on or before 23rd August 2024
