DEPARTMENT OF NURSING

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

NATIONAL DIPLOMA /HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN NURSING

• All applicants must have sat for the 2024 UTME with a minimum score of
• Candidate should have a minimum of Five credit passes in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than two sittings at O/level WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
• Candidate must be at least 17 years of Age

DURATION OF COURSE:

• National Diploma (ND) - TWO (2) YEARS
• Higher National Diploma (HND) —- TWO (2) YEARS

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

• Candidates are to proceed to the nearest JAMB-accredited centre to effect their change of institution to the School of Nursing, UBTH, Benin City.
• Visit the College portal using this link https://conubth.cdu.ng. Go to the “admissions” tab and click “Create a profile”
• Candidates are to upload scanned copies of the under-listed on the portal during registration to purchase the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) form.
• JAMB result slip
• JAMB change of institution slip (where applicable)
• WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results
• Birth Certificate
• Passport photograph
• Ensure you upload your O/L result to the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)
• Payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00) payable to UBTH Account with TSA under the service type: Training School using REMITA platform in any bank in Nigeria.
• Upon admission, go to Jamb CAPS, pay the required fee and print your admission letter.

DEPARTMENT OF MIDWIFERY

ENTRY QUALIFICATION:

Applicant must;

• Not be less than 17 years or above 34 years of age
• Possess a minimum of Five credit passes in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than two sittings at O/level WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.

DURATION OF COURSE- THREE (3) YEARS

METHOD OF APPLICATION

• Application must be done on the UBTH College of Nursing Sciences website/portal at: https://conubth.edu.ng/mid-profile-creation/
• Payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00)
• only payable to UBTH Account with TSA under the service type: Training School of Midwifery using the REMITA platform in any bank in Nigeria.
• Payment of Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) only into Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Edo State Committee account - First Bank 2004854377

DEPARTMENT OF POST-BASIC NURSING STUDIES

• Certificate in Gerontology Nursing and Management
• Certificate in Ophthalmic Nursing and Management
• Certificate in Perioperative Nursing and Management ¢
• Certificate in Paediatric Nursing and Management
• Certificate In Accident and Emergency Nursing and Management ‘

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should:

• Possess a minimum of Five credit passes in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than two sittings at O/level WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
• Be a qualified duly registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Have at least one year post-registration clinical experience in the relevant area.

COURSE DURATION: 1 YEAR

• Choose the "Post Basic Nursing Application Form" and proceed to create your profile.
• Check your email inbox for a confirmation email and follow the instructions to® activate your profile.
• Log in to your account and select "PBN Payments.”
• Payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira for the Gerontology Nursing and Management program and Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15, 000.00) only (for other programs) payable to UBTH Account with TSA under the service type: Training School using REMITA platform in any bank
• Payment of Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) only: into Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Edo State Committee account, First Bank 2004854377
