The University of Calabar invites applications from suitable JAMB UTME candidates for Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Interested candidates are to be guided by the following information.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION: 

The following categories of JAMB UTME candidates are eligible to apply:

• Candidates who selected the University of Calabar as their first choice in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME and choose any of the programmes listed in 10 Below and scored a minimum of 140.
• Interested candidates who did not choose University of Calabar as their first choice but wish to study in the University of Calabar and scored a minimum of 140 in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME.
• Candidates in 1{b) above, must do a Change of Institution to the University of Calabar via JAMB website (www.jamb.org.ng) and choose any of the programmes listed in 10 below,

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

E-Transact:

This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide. At the banks, you are required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN. With the PIN obtained, login to the portal http://www. myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME admission screening link, login with your CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER and follow the instructions on the portal after login.

Post UTME PIN option:

This option gives access to purchase post-UTME PIN from the portal http://www.myunicaledu.ng. Click buy Post-UTME PIN online to purchase the Post-UTME PIN. Login using TRANSACTION ID as the PIN into the portal.

• On obtaining the printout from the bank or online, proceed as follows:
• LOG ON TO hittp://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME admission screening link.
• On the home page, enter your correct JAMB Registration number in the box provided.
• Enter the CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER or TRANSACTION ID in the box provided.
• Click on login and follow the online instructions.
• Confirm your entries CLICK ON SUBMIT and Print out the completed form.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE ONLINE APPLICATION:

• Candidates are required to upload the following documents:
• Digital Passport-size photograph (in JPG format)

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION:

Submit a valid email address and personal phone number in your Application.

Note: University of Calabar will not be responsible for any unsuccessful applications as a result of invalid email address(es) and telephone number(s).

COMMENCEMENT OF ONLINE APPLICATION:

The Online application will be open from Tuesday 23rd of July 2024 on our portal http: //myunical.edu.ng

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

The deadline for submission of application is the 13th of August 2024

DATE OF POST-UTME EXERCISE:

The date for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will be made known upon completion of the application, on the PUTME Screening Schedule Printout.

ITEMS FOR SCREENING TEST:

Candidates are to bring the following for the screening test:

• POST-UTME Screening Schedule Printout
• 2024/2025 JAMB UTME Result Slip

DO NOT bring the following items into the screening test hall:

• Mathematical tables
• Calculators.
• Smart phones & Smart-watches
• Bags of any kind

Ali the items in 8(b) above will be confiscated, if brought into the screening hall. The University of Calabar will not be held liable for loss or seizure of any item brought into the exam venue by candidates.

DISQUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATIONS OF UTME SCORES, ORDINARY LEVEL RESULT GRADES (WAEC, NECO OR NABTEB) AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.
