General Requirements for AIL UNIMED B., Sc. Conversion Programmes

• A candidate for B.Sc. Conversion Programme in UNIMED must have obtained 5 credit passes in the following O'Level Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in WAEC / NECO/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings.
• Evidence of NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.
• Academic/Official transcripts must be processed and mandatorily provided before admission. An electronic copy of the official transcript can be forwarded to: [email protected]

FACULTY OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

B. Sc. Conversion Programme in Health Information Management (HIM) 

Admission Requirements

• All candidates shall hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management from recognized and accredited training schools.
• Duration: Two (2) years, 3 semesters per year

FACULTY OF DENTAL SCIENCES

B. Dent T Conversion Programme in Dental Therapy  

Admission Requirement

• All candidates for admission to the B. Dental Therapy degree by conversion must possess the following:
• Higher National Diploma with a minimum of upper credit
• The candidate must also obtain a satisfactory pass at any further examination conducted by the University.

B. Sc. Conversion Programme in Dental Technology

Admission Requirements

• All candidates for admission to the B. Sc (Dental Technology) degree by conversion must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dental Technology with a minimum of lower credit pass.
• Candidate must also obtain a satisfactory pass at any further examination conducted by the University.
• Duration: Six (6) semesters

FACULTY OF MEDICAL REHABILITATION

Admission into Transitional-Doctor of Physiotherapy

Admission Requirements for 18 months duration (3 semesters)

• Candidate must have obtained a first degree- BSc PT, BMR PT, BPT from a 4 or 5-year training programme within or outside Nigeria.
• Candidates shall possess a minimum of second class lower division in BSc PT, BMR (PT) or BPT.
• Candidates with a Third Class degree in Physiotherapy but with an additional Postgraduate Diploma Certificate in any relevant field can also be offered admission into the [8-month duration programme.

Admission Requirements for 12 months duration (2 semesters)

• The candidate must satisfy the minimum requirements as stipulated for the 18 months programme but must have an additional postgraduate qualification(s) with a minimum of M.Sc. in Physiotherapy or relevant fields (MPH, MSc in Exercise Science or Physiology, Anatomy and Biochemistry).

B. PO Conversion Programme in Prosthetics and Orthotics

Admission Requirements

• Candidates shall possess a minimum Higher National Diploma (HND) in Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology from a recognised/approved institution with a minimum of lower credit).
• Duration: Six (6) semesters.

SCHOOL RERPUBETC HEALTH

B.Sc. Conversion Programmes in Community Health & Environmental Health Science

Admission Criteria for Community Health

• Holders of Community Health Officers (CHO) certificate with current license.
• Duration: 2 years, 3 Semesters per year

Admission Requirements for Environmental Health

• Holders of HND in Environmental Health Science with current license.
• Duration: 2 years, 3 Semesters per year

• Click on APPLICATION FORM with your Payment Transaction ID to complete the form.
