This notice is for all candidates interested in enrolling in the College of Health Information Management at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for the Post Basic Critical Care Nursing and Post Basic Peri operative Nursing programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year. The sale of application forms will begin on 1st June 2026.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR BOTH PROGRAMMES  

i. Applicants must have five (5) credits in WAEC, SSCE, or NECO, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, obtained in no more than two (2) sittings. Acceptable combinations include WAEC and WAEC, NECO and NECO, or WAEC and NECO within two sittings. The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) results are accepted only if obtained in not more than two sittings and cannot be combined with WAEC or NECO.  

ii. Candidates must be registered nurses with a valid practicing licence issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.  

iii. Application form fees (non-refundable) are as follows:  

- SPBCCN –  N15,000.00  

- SPBPON – N15,000.00  

 

iv. Dates for sale and submission of application forms:  

- SPBCCN – 25th June 2026 to 30th August 2026  

- SPBPON – 25th June 2026 to 30th August 2026  

 

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews within the week following submission.
• All payments must be made into the UMTH Schools Account via REMITA. Candidates should present both the original and photocopy of the payment evidence to the school cashier to receive a hospital receipt, which is required to collect the application form.

1. SPBPON – 1st to 4th September 2026  

2. SPBCCN – 1st to 4th September 2026
