The University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital wishes to inform the general public that admission tams into the above named school are on sale for interested candidates for the year 2021/2022 academic session. 

Method of Application 

A) For all the schools 

i) Applicant; should possess five (5) credits in SSCE, WAEC, and NECO which must include English language, Mathematics , Biology , Physics, and Chemistry in not more than two (2) sittings Combination of WAEC and WAEC , NECO and NECO and WAEC AND NECO are acceptable at not more than two sittings. National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) is also acceptable in not more than two (2) sittings but cannot be combined with either WAEC OR NECO.

ii) Applicants; for school d Nursing must be between seventeen (17) and twenty four (24) years of age. 

iii) SPBPON and SPBCCN; in addition to (i) above 

a) Candidates must be a registered nurse and possess a current practicing license by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

 b) Candidates must have a minimum of two (2)  years post registration experience 

iv) SCHOTP; in addition to (i)above. 

a) Candidates must have diploma in community heath , with Iwo (2) yeas post qualification experience. b) Community heath extension waters with (5)years post qualification experience. 

v) SHIM; in addition to(i)above; 

a) National Diploma ND candidates must possess evidences ci 2021 JAMB examination result with acceptance cut off mark in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exanimation(UMTE) in the relevant subject.

b) Candidates for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme must possess; 

• Professional/National Diploma Certificate in Health Information Management (HIM) with a minimum lower credit.
• Evidence of completion of one year relevant work experience or an employee in a reputable health Institution. 
• Evidence of previous JAMB admission and completion of one year relevant work experience or an employee in a reputable health institution. 
• Release/advisory letter from employers to prospective candidates to further study will be an added advantage. 
• Note: Any HND candidates that presents with 20213 JAMB examination results is automatically disqualified for admission.

2. SPBPON          = 10,000.00 

3. SPBCCN           = 10,000.00 

4. SCHOTP           = 5,000.00 

5. SHIM                = 5,000.00 

C). Data of Sales and Submission of Application Forms 

1). SON = 7th May, 2021 = 25th June, 2021 

2). SPBCCN = 7th May, 2021 = 4th Aug, 2021 

3). SPBPON = 7th May, 2021 = 2nd Aug,2021 

4). SCHOTP = 7th May, 2021 = 2nd Aug, 2021 

5). SHIM = 7th May, 2021 =15th July, 2021 

NB: 

All completed application forms should be return to the coordinators / principal's office not later than the dates stated above.

Completed application faros must accompany with; 

a). Two(2) recent passport photographs on a white background. 

b). Photocopies of all credentials. 

c). Indigene certificate and birth certificate or declaration of age.

D) Selection / Examination Process; 

The entrance examination and interview will be conducted on dates stated below:- 

1 SON                    13th July, 2021 

2 SPBPON            2nd to 6th Aug, 2021 

3 SPBCCN            4th to 6th Aug, 2021 

4 SCHOTP            2nd to 6th Aug, 2021 

NB: 

Successful candidates will be invited for interview. 

All payment should be made into UMTH REMITER platform “UMTH SCHOOLS ACCOUNT” 

Candidates are to present original and photocopy of evidence of payment to the school cashier and obtain hospital receipt and use same to collect application form.
