National Diploma (HND) Programme

This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into College of Health Information Management, University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) for the year 2026/2027 session that the sales of forms will commence on 1st June, 2026.

NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for admission into National Diploma (ND) programme must possess the following:

1. Minimum of five (5) credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in not more than two (2) sittings (SSCE/WAEC/NECO) or its equivalent.

2. Evidence of 2026 JAMB examination results and have chosen the College as his/her first choice.

3. Obtained the minimum score in UTME in the relevant subject combination.

 

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programme must possess the following:

1. National Diploma Certificates in Health Information Management with a minimum of Lower Credit; candidates with Pass must possess two years working experience.

2. Evidence of completion of one year relevant working experience in a reputable health institution.

3. Valid License Certificate for National Diploma.

4. Original JAMB Admission Letter for National Diploma (ND) issued by JAMB.

N.B: Candidate with 2026 JAMB examination results is automatically disqualified for HND admission.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND)

• Interested candidates should pay the sum of N2,000 as Post UTME Screening fee at the point of screening.

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND)

• Interested candidates should pay into the school management account a non-refundable fee of N6,000 at the hospital billing office and return the duplicate receipt to the College Administrative Office for collection of form.

 

CLOSING DATE FOR SALES OF FORMS

The sales of forms for both ND/HND Programme for the 2026/2027 admission exercise will be closed on or before 31st August, 2026.
