Applicants are invited for admission into the School of Health Information Management for a two-year course leading to the award of Higher National Diploma in Health Information Management. 

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: 

Candidates must have:-

(i) Sat for 2022 JAMB and obtained result. 

(ii) obtained the minimum entry requirements of five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings in WASCE. GCE, SSCE or NECO in the following subjects: 

(a) English Language 

(b) Mathematics 

(c) Biology or Health Science 

(d) Chemistry or Physic and any other subject In addition to the specific entry requirement, candidate must meet the following entry requirement for the HND Programme: 

A (i) National Diploma in Health Information Management with a minimum of a lower credit A (ii) Or National Diploma Certificate in Health Information Management from College of Health Technology with minimum of lower credit. 

(E) Evidence of completion of one-year industrial work experience in an accredited Health Institution 

(F) Candidates with a Pass (GPA 2.00 - 2.49) at the ND level with two (2) or more years post-ND cognate work experience may be considered for admission into the HND Programme. 

(G) Must pass the part I Professional Licensing Examination of the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) 

METHOD OF APPLICATION: 

Application forms are obtainable from the School of Health Information Management. University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. Uyo with a non-refundable fee of N10,000.00 (Ton Thousand Naira) only paid to the School, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital Branch, Uyo. The Bank Teller should be presented before the issuance of application forms.
