Job Title: Medical Officer

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all patient cases with professionalism and care.

Ensure patients fully understand treatments and procedures.

Attend to patients referred by specialist colleagues.

Promptly carry out investigations, treatments, and issue discharge summaries.

Evaluate medical records, case notes, and discharge letters during peer reviews.

Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policy.

Participate in regular medical audits to monitor quality of care.

Adhere to emergency protocols/SOPs during urgent situations.

Educate patients on preventive healthcare and promote regular health checks.

Maintain thorough and timely updates on patient electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

Medical Degree and a valid license to practice.

2–5 years’ clinical experience.

Skilled in patient care and medical procedures.

Proficient in diagnosing and managing a range of medical conditions.

Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Committed to ethical, professional standards.

Training in specialized medical procedures is an added advantage.

Experience in a multi-specialty hospital is a plus.
