Manager Member & Hospital Services - Medical Doctor, Optometrist or Dentist

We are a leading health insurance company based in Lagos. Nigeria looking to hire a Manager Member & Hospital Services - a Medical Doctor, Optometrist or Dentist who would be responsible for coordinating and administering all stakeholder activities and procedures adopted by the HMO to ensure an effective and efficient oversight of a provider-enrollee relationship.

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time  

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Sign up providers across the country
• Provider selection and management: enlisting, negotiation, delisting, rewarding, training, enlightening.
• Tariff negotiation and review.  
• Case Management - concurrent and post-management review with managing Physicians
• Providers audit and quality assurance: this involves infrastructure audit, treatment protocol and service quality
• Care review for admitted and complex cases in secondary and tertiary care
• Review of care delivery protocols
• Analysis of hospital tiers and capability.
• Coordinate health talks, clinical sessions, and meetings.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Medicine, Optometry or Dentistry
• A practising medical license.
• 3 to 5 years post NYSC (No HMO experience required).
