With total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, the Council regrets to announce the passing of Professor BM Agiae who until his death is a member of the Veterinary Council of Nigeria on an observer status being the National President of the Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA)

To lose a passionate leader and an ardent advocate of our great profession at this critical time of our profession’s repositioning and rebuilding is indeed colossal and retrogressive. This is indeed a trying moment for the Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) and the entire Veterinary profession. We are however consoled by the landmark achievements and competent leadership strides he had always exhibited while alive. 

The Council commiserates with his family, the faculty of Veterinary Medicine Usman Danfodiyo University, Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) and the entire Veterinary Community. May the Almighty Allah grant him Aljannatul firdaus and also grant his family and the entire Veterinary community the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
