Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the underlisted courses of this College for the 2014/2015 Academic session commencing from October, 2014. 

The Courses are:        -    Duration

Special fellow of Medical Laboratory Science 

Council of Nigeria (SFMLSCN)       -       Minimum of three (3) years 

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)    -    Three (3) years 

Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA)     -    Two (2) years 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: 

SPECIAL FELLOW 

Holders of Associate Certificate of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSN) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) Certificate plus a current practicing license. 

MLT

Minimum entry requirement for admission four (4) OIL credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology plus at least a pass in Physics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO and NABTEB within a space offive (5) years. 

MLA 

Minimum entry requirement for admission Three (3) OIL credit passes in English Language, Chemistry and Biology plus at least a pass in Mathematics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB within a space offive (5) years.

1. Prospective candidates are to visit the College website (portal.fcvmlt.edu.ng). Click on the 2014/2015 application for full information on the application process 

2. Sale of online application forms commences on Monday 9'" June, 2014 and ends on Friday 1st August, 2014 

3. Candidates are advised to read carefully registration instructions and the requirements for admission to confirm eligibility

4. Every applicant is required to upload all certificates listed in the application form 

5. Candidates will be required to print examination slip atthe end of registration 

NB: The examination slip admits candidates into the examination hall. 

MODE OF PAYMENT 

A non-refundable application fee of N10,000.00 for Spec/al Fellow, N4,000.00 for MLT and N3,000.00 for MLA payable to the Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology, Vom through any of the designated Banks indicated on the website. 

SCREENING EXERCISE 

All candidates for ML T and MLA courses are to note that entrance examination shall be conducted on Saturday 16th August, 2014. Any candidate that fails to appear for the entrance examination stands disqualified automatically.
