INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR ADMISSION INTO OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITALS COMPLEX BASIC SCHOOLS OF NURSING, ILE-IFE AND ILESA

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Basic Schools of Nursing, (Ile-Ife and Ilesa) for a 3-year General Nursing Course, commencing in October, 2014.

BASIC MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Applicants must possess: WAEC SSCE/GCE or NECO SSCE/GCE, 5 Credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least seventeen and half (17½) years old by October, 2014. Applicant must note that combination of NECO and WAEC results is ACCEPTABLE. .

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application form is obtainable from Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Schools of Nursing, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife and Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa at a cost of Five Thousand (#5,000.00) Naira only payable by cash to the Schools’ Accounts

DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Entrance Examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Examination Committee on Saturday, 16th August, 2014.

*Applicant should note that no part of the form should be detached before submission.

PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH

Identical Passport Photographs taken within six months to examination should be attached to application forms. Candidate who fails to comply with the above will NOT be allowed to sit for the Entrance Examination.

CLOSING DATE

Completed application forms should be returned to the office of the Principal where the forms were obtained on or before 9th August, 2014.
