Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the above programme.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Prospective candidates should possess a minimum of five (5) O. Level Credits in either SSCE, NECO & GCE. This must include English Language, Mathematics and Biology/Health Science at not more than two (2) sittings.

Candidates with National Certificate in Health Assistant (Orthopaedic), Junior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (JCHEW) and those working in Health based organizations are encouraged to apply.

DURATION OF TRAINING

Two (2) years. Successful candidates will undergo one year supervised industrial attachment.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms are obtainable from school at the cost of Five Thousand Naira (N5, 000.00) only, payable into FIRST BANK Nig PLC. N.O.H Schools Account Number. 2024008617. Applicants are to obtain receipt from the Accounts Department after submission of the Bank Teller.

Candidates can also download copies of the application form at www.orthopaedicdala.org and send completed forms to the principal school of Orthopaedic cast technology NOHD P.M.B 3087 Dala Kano with a BANK DRAFT of N5, 000.00 Naira only, payable to National Orthopaedic Hospital Dala – Kano.

CLOSING DATE

All completed application forms should be returned to the school on or before 10^th JULY 2015.

NOTE:

Only qualified candidates are advised to purchase the form as non qualified candidates will not be invited for screening and will not be refunded. Selection of candidates will be based on their performance at the entrance examination to be conducted based on JAMB syllabus and standard. Successful candidates will further be screen by the School before confirmation of the admission.

Please note that the course is NON – RESIDENTIAL.
