4. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A. Qualifications for Membership
(i) Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification recognized by the Veterinary Council ofNigcria (VCN),
(ii) Aminimum of three calendar years of post-DVM professional experience.
(iii) Continuous registration with VCN over the mandatory post-DVlvl period.
(iv) Curriculum Vitae of candidate.
B. Qualifications for Fellowship
(i) DVM or equivalent qualification recognized by VCN
(ii) Must have obtained the Membership Diploma OR any other relevant additional qualification.
(iii) Six years. post-DVM professional experience with continuous VCN registration over the period.
(iv) Detailed Curriculum Vitae of candidate.
5. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
(i) NYSC Certificate or evidence of exemption.
(ii) Additional academic and professional qualifications in relevant areas shall be an added advantage.
(iii) Candidates must present their transcripts of academic records adjudged suitable for admission with comparable postgraduate programmes.
(iv) Referees by at least three Senior Veterinarians, one of whom should be the candidate's fanner Lecturer.
DURATION OF TRAINING
The duration of training for both Membership and Fellowship is three years each, including a compulsory residency period of six months.

(ii) Fellowship N10.000.00
All payments should be made in Bank draft payable to the Veterinary Council of Nigeria.
