The AMLSN eLearning Team is happy to announce the release of an additional Series III eLearning course. The new course, as well as the Series I and Series II courses, are available on the new eLearning platform: http://moodle.amlsn.org.ng. The eight AMLSN authored eLearning courses have been completed over 2,200 times on the new platform.
The new Series III course is authored by AMLSN members and accredited by MLSCN:
Two other Series III courses were released in September 2014:
-
Laboratory Diagnosis of Sexually Transmitted Infections (2 credits)
-
New Diagnostic Tools for STIs and Quality Considerations (2 credits)
When logging into the new platform for the first time, you will be asked to update your password. After logging in, you will need to enroll yourself in each of the new courses. For instructions on how to do this, please read the Guide on Accessing and Navigating eLearning Courses. The offline (PDF) versions of the courses are available on the AMLSN website.
Questions?
You have questions and we have answers. Based on the questions we have received, we have developed a frequently asked question (FAQ) list that might answer you question.
If the FAQ list doesn't answer your questions, there are now over 10,700 members in the AMLSN eLearning Facebook Group who can help answer your questions. If you would like to join the Group and have a Facebook account, enter AMLSN eLearning in the search bar at the top of your Facebook home page. Once you've found the Group in the results, click Join Group in the top-right corner. The Group Admins will review and approve your request. You can also gain automatic entry by asking a current member to add you. If you don't already have a Facebook account, it's easy to open one.
In addition to asking questions, please post your comments about the courses, the eLearning platform and the CPD Programme. Your thoughts are important to us since you, the AMLSN members, are the primary audience for this initiative.
Thank you for your interest and support of the K4Health/Nigeria eLearning Initiative.
