Anaesthetic Technician One Year Sandwich Training Program at Lagos University Teaching Hospital

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who wish to upgrade thier previous two year in house training certicate in LUTH or other recognized institutions. this one year sandwich program is strictly non residential and institutions can sponsor candidates

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

- SSCE/GCE or WAEC/NECO with six credits at not more than two sittings, knowledge of science will be an advantage.

- Two years training as Anaesthetic health assistant/ technician with evidence of certificate from a recognized training institution

DURATION OF COURSE: One year

This program is a full time course involving shift duties. At the end of the training, successful candidates who must be willign to work under direct supervision of professional anaesthetists will be awarded appropriate certificate.

TRAINING FEES: N99,000 for the one year program, payable at the point of admission

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Application forms are obtainable from the chief medical director, LUTH, PMB 12003, Lagos Nigeria on payment of a non refundable fee of N5000 only. Fees issued in bank draft should be made payable to the lagos university teaching hospital with the name and address of the applicant boldly written at the back of the bank draft.

NB: Cheque/ postal orders are not acceptable. On submision of the bank draft, a receipt must be obtained for the said sum. The receipt will be tendered at the collection point of the application form.
